First of all, Jamie's review went very well. He's doing a great job and they love having him out here. *sigh* I'm so happy things are going well and he's secure. It's just...why did it have to be Utah? The boss even said he was a great team player. Jamie. A team player. THAT is a first. My husband is wonderful and brilliant but being a team player has never been one his best traits. He was asked if I was going to return to SLC after visiting home for Thanksgiving. Funny.
Anyway, a little homeschool stuff. It's been challenging schooling with the baby. She must be in the middle of things. So yesterday we took our history texts and maps and sat on the floor next to her play mat. Nicholas said maybe she could learn something too. So, we sat down and went over our lesson. Every few minutes he would stop and show something or explain things to Sarah. It ended up being great! He reinforced the lesson to himself by going over it to her. She just likes being talked to so she just watched him and smiled the whole time. He picked up on the things we were talking about very well, and quickly.
An unexpected way to learn it. A bit unorthodox but, it works!
Oh, that is too sweet. Wait until she is walking and trying to hang out in his room. That's where all our 8 year difference cuteness went out the window! LOL.
